  • The chapel at Mintlyn Crematorium, King's Lynn was packed on Wednesday 9th February 2022 with people wanting to pay their respects to Michael Foot at a beautiful service led by Revd. Rosemary Goddard.  Rosemary was a personal friend of Mike and Wendy from Mike's days as Head of Reffley County Primary School when she was a fellow teacher there.  The organist at this service, Jonathon Chaddock, had also been a teacher with Mike and Rosemary at Reffley.  The eulogy at the service was given by one of the Trustees of the fund, Mr Paul Berry, who had known Mike for many years.  A transript of Paul's eulogy and some other tributes are reproduced on the Tribute to Michael Foot page of this website.
